07:29 pm - And on the radio you hear "November Rain." That solo's awful long but it's a good refrain

Things have been uncommonly stressful at work the past couple of days and will continue to be uncommonly stressful for, oh, the next seven weeks or so. Also, my partner-in-all-things is out of town for work all week, which means my sleep patterns are horribly goofed up. Maybe that's why things have seemed extra strange to me the past few days. For example...

--In the mailbox yesterday, amidst the cluster of junk mail and terrifying bills, was an eleven-page printout labeled "Delta Air Lines destination." It's clearly from Wikipedia. There are several cities marked with yellow highlighter, including Nairobi, Kanya and Fairbanks, Alaska. This didn't arrive in an envelope or with any note attached. It was simply shoved unceremoniously in the mailbox.

--Dr. Pepper has apparently taken a break from creating derivations of their soft drink with flavors so completely random that they may very well have been yelled out from an improv audience (even the merest hint that I'm harshing on one of those Dr. Pepper flavors will be enough to determine if [info]jupiterjuniper is paying attention to this post (of course, the fact that I've called [info]jupiterjuniper out by pseudonymic name all but guarantees that she'll notice (and there I've done it again--dang! (note to self: use fewer parentheses)))). They're using the spare time to try and goad Guns N' Roses into finally released the long-gestating, often-scheduled Chinese Democracy. This effort includes a surprisingly low-rent blog and has provoked a genial response from W. Axl Rose himself. Personally, I think this is a fine development and only hope other soda purveyors will follow suit. Maybe the folks behind should start bullying Harper Lee into writing a second novel.

--Just searching for hyperlinkable material for the above item I found more weirdness!

I feel like I've goofed up my head.
